Between You & The Moon’s philosophy is to bring your skin to a beautiful balance, naturally. Through our holistic approach to skin care, we determine the underlying imbalances in your skin and create a plan of action to give you a healthy, vibrant glow.
These products work together synergistically and compliment the natural balance of your skin. They contain no mineral oil, parabins, or synthetic chemicals. Emma Graves, creator of Between You and the Moon and our trusted Skin Care specialist tries to use only local and organic ingredients as much as possible, but many specialty herbs and oils come from far away. For these treatments, Emma only purchases from reputable fair-trade companies. Many of the products (those without milk or honey) are certified vegan. Level I
The ideal balance of relaxation with deep cleansing. Facial cleansing is followed by steam and massage, gentle exfoliation, thorough extractions, herbal stone treatment and masque.

Supplements the Level I facial with a personally prescribed combination of Balancing Peels, Facial Point Stimulation, and the choice between an ultrasonic Vita-C Treatment, Collagen Infusion, or a Soothing Eye Treatment (depending on your skin’s needs).

Facial Point Stimulation Therapy
Also known as Dien Cham (or Facial Reflexology), this relaxing facial technique uses hand-blown glass “wands” to stimulate points along meridian lines as well as a mixture of a mixture of warm and cold semiprecious stones (including jade) to boost circulation and smooth skin tone. This treatment FEELS SO INCREDIBLE! Add it onto your phototherapy (or any other treatment) and you will be in heaven!

Balancing Peel
Peels remove dead skin, make extractions easy and promote cellular renewal, bringing a vibrant glow to the skin and extending the life of a facial. Peels can be customized for any skin type. The type of peel is determined during skin consultation. Please be prepared to stay out of direct sunlight for 48 hours after a peel.

Collagen Infusion
Uses collagen infused with natural hyaluronic acid and herbs to firm your skin and plump fine lines with this relaxing ultra-sonic treatment.

Soothing Eye Treatment
Ultrasonic waves smooth out the eye area while DMAE and Calming Herbs penetrate the skin, thereby tightening the under-eye area, reducing the appearance of fine lines dark circles.

Phototherapy
Phototherapy is the use of specific light emitting diodes within a broad range of color-frequencies to penetrate deep below the skin’s surface and encourage new-cell growth for healthier, more radiant skin. Benefits reported include: better elasticity, firmer skin tone, evenness of skin tone, diminished evidence of old scars, less visible pores and fewer break-outs. Phototherapy does not hurt at all and has very little (if any) “down time” post-treatment. Though one session is beneficial, Phototherapy is recommended as part of a program to fully experience the unique and skin-changing results:

Anti-Acne Blue Light Therapy
Blue-light has traditionally been used to improve the condition of acne and break-out prone skin by relaxing pores, reducing inflammation and killing bacteria while maintaining the integrity of the acid mantle.

Coffee Slimming
This intense body treatment uses two different blends of coffee to help control cellulite and water retention in problem areas. After a gentle sloughing of dead skin cells, an active coffee complex is applied, covered with a coffee/mud mix and then wrapped. After a short relaxation period you are escorted to a shower to remove the treatment products. (This treatment is not always available—call if you have questions)

Lymphatic Body Brushing
Your lymph system regulates all of the “other” fluids in your body (other than blood). It is important to keep your lymph moving to prevent it from becoming stagnant. Today’s lifestyles prevent many of us from getting enough lymphatic movement on a daily basis. This treatment not only feels great (kind of like a light massage with a brush), but it is the perfect kick start and end to any detox program. You will learn how to body brush at home as part of your regular routine, and receive your own, beautiful lymphatic body brush. Session ends with a hot-towel full-body rub including hand mixed oils.
