Between You and the Moon's Holistic Skin Care differs from traditional, western care in that we are working WITH the body’s natural physiological processes rather than trying to suppress that body’s responses to imbalances. In other words, we don’t further PUNISH your skin’s natural inflammatory response (i.e. a pimple) by trying to “kill it” or “dry it out”. Instead, we NOURISH and SUPPORT the skin’s healing process with herbs, sound waves (ultrasonic treatments, Level II) and/or light photons (Phototherapy, Level III). What does this mean to you? Emma’s Skin Care treatments are powerful, yet gentle and many of our guests leave seeing immediate results with little to no redness. As your skin learns to HEAL ITSELF, the balance of extractions to massage becomes tilted to the RELAXATION side! (Giving you something more to look forward to…) Herbal, truly CHEMICAL-FREE Products and Treatments. Our Holistic Skin Care Specialist, Emma Graves, is also the in-house certified herbalist; creating Valley’s treatment protocol as well as the herbal formulations that are used during Valley Facials. She uses local and organic ingredients whenever possible and freshly mixes every step of each facial or treatment. Rest assured, during your treatment you are free from exposure to parabins, added fragrances or petroleum products. Feel good about the places that you support with your spending. Customized treatments without the pressure. Valley, has developed a system that truly lets YOU decide how far you want to go with each treatment. We want you to feel comfortable knowing that you are getting precisely what your skin needs. With that in mind, we offer complete facials at 3 levels. Any facial that you decide on will be unique to your specific needs. The difference lies in that a Level I Facial is a completely herbal facial. A Level II Facial adds more advanced ingredients and Ultrasonic Therapy, while a Level III Facial is even more advanced, adding Phototherapy. Of course, treatments such as peels, collagen infusion, vitamin c infusion and/or eye contour treatments can be added to any facial for an additional fee. Also ask about facial waxing and eyebrow design during your facial/treatment.
